Reminder to all, there have been coyote sightings numerous instances in Polo Fields. The latest one is at Chukker Point Lane,
Be careful with your children/pets.
Recommendation from Ohio Department of Wildlife
1. Coyotes will not typically attack humans. They are hanging around because they are curious.
2. Coyotes are also very territorial. They are there because they were there first.
3. Coyotes should flee if you aggressively shoo them away. This will discourage them from being so curious and territorial.
4. Avoid keeping anything outside such as food or pet food that may attract them to houses.
5. Coyotes tend to prey on small dogs and other small animals. Always accompany pets while outside for their protection.
Go and see the additions at both pool playground areas.
Thanks to the input of pool committee members and the extra efforts of Cortnei Weaver to identify all the ideas/choices, the Polo Fields Board of Directors approved these additions:
Dorgene Pool Playground area - A new play set has been installed adjacent to the baby pool, allowing parents to watch young children play. This addition supplements the existing play area at Dorgene pool, which is primaily for older children.
Tournament Pool Playground area - This play area has been expanded now include a four seat swing set in far end of play area. Additionally, there will be an area awaiting more play equipment, targeted for older children, which will be identified at a later time by pool committee.
Please take advantage of the additions, weather permitting. Thank your neighbors who are part of pool committee, and provide any feedback.
